About Sonja

In my 20s, a dark moment led me to focus on music—a passion I deeply loved. I learned guitar and computer music production and briefly explored the industry. However, I realized the performance-focused lifestyle wasn’t my path. This period taught me that following what truly resonates with my soul is more important than external expectations.

In my 30s, I ventured into fashion retail, building my own business and experiencing the freedom I’d always craved. While I lived freely, I lacked direction and ambition. A challenging breakup made me realize the importance of nurturing my own life, teaching me the value of self-love and resilience.

​

My 40s brought both breakthroughs and hardships. In 2017, I began producing music and sharing my thoughts on mindset and life online. After losing my loving father in 2018, I faced crippling anxiety and spent years on heavy medication. The COVID pandemic further tested me, as it upended my retail business, forcing me to rebuild from scratch. Through sheer determination, I created a new self-employed model and rediscovered my strength.

By 2024, I felt an inner void—a longing to return to creative work and share the lessons I’ve learned. In November, I relaunched www.sonjavelvet.com to live my purpose: inspiring others through creativity, personal growth, and life’s profound lessons.

​

​Life, for me, is about creating freedom, constantly learning and growing, and transforming challenges into a driving force for improvement—living life as a work of art.

​Returning to my journey in 2024 with renewed vision, drive, and passion, I embrace the ups and downs ahead with an open heart. I’m ready to grow, live better, do better, and share everything I learn with anyone I can reach. Life, to me, is about living and learning, learning and sharing—constantly evolving and inspiring each other along the way.
